    Dave...

I wonder just how many cards were published in this series? You're right about our Ms. Phoebe looking a bit changed in some of the cards. Do you have a favorite? The one in the top card is mine...the Phoebe in the card 3rd up from the bottom going through the gates looks bizarre! [:-hypnotized] These are very hard to locate...but I keep trying! Thanks for sharing these.

These were postcards, too, in addition to other ads although I'm only familiar with the postcards and a few illustrations from promotional litereature put out by the DL&W. Here's a few more from my postcard collection...

    Russ--

Thanks for those three 'Phoebes' that I've never seen before. Here are some from my collection:

Phoebe looks quite different depending on the illustrator who visualized her; (I detect five artists here) but never once did a nasty cinder foul her white frock!id="green">

    Russ,

I have a Trackside around Scranton book that is terrific. It shows the interurban station of the "Laurel Lines" that was nearby the Lackawanna station. If anyone likes interurbans, that would be an interesting line to model. Great picture!

Russ, that is a beautiful shot. One of these days I should wander up to Scranton to see what is left of the yards and structures.

It's train time in Scranton. A beautiful spring day in 1958 and the Phoebe Snow is now boarding. What a great scene from this Audio Visual Designs postcard!id="Comic Sans MS">id="blue">
