    1953 REO Gold Comet logger

    Been quite a while since I did any modeling but I finally am getting back into it. Thought I would complete an old kit I had from Ivers Engineering of the '53 REO Gold Comet in white metal. The bunks on the truck and the stinger trailer are scratch built out of styrene and brass.

          This is an elegant little build! Somehow I missed that Ivers gem....

                              Great to see you back on the forum, and I echo the thoughts and feelings expressed above.

                              The REO is a nice truck, there were made here in my home area, many may or may not know that REO is for Ransom E. Olds of Oldsmobile of Lansing, MI fame. The REO motor company lasted until at least the 70s making trucks of all sorts. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/REO_Motor_Car_Company
