Other way, the founders of the line thought they could make it to New Jersey.

Though I don't have a layout at the moment I'm still building rolling stock for my SR&N.

The newest is a gondola I've just sprayed with primer:

It's kinda minimally detailed, I may add some bits at some point but I'm enjoying getting some colour so to projects that have been sitting around for years. It's sitting on a Chivers Finelines underframe with narrowed HOn3 trucks and Micro-Trains N scale 36" wheels. The stakes and pockets are cut down Grandt Line parts.

Finally got some lettering on my SR&N flanger:

      Still needs a stack though...

      Thanks for looking!

Nice!! It really has the down home look of the New England 2-ft lines.

What's the origin of that flanger? Was it a kit, kitbash or scratchbuilt?

                Thanks gentlemen,

Dave, it's scratch-built using a European 4-wheel underframe, there's some more information about it on page two of this thread. It's loosely based on a SR&RL prototype.

Thanks! My RR will need one of these, I think :-) What did you use for the flanger blade?

Agreed, you'll probably need one or two

The blade is scratch-built with styrene. It's double sided and looks like a stretched diamond from the bottom. I'll try and take a picture next time the camera is out.

                      Hi Dave,

Here's a shot of the flanger blade from the bottom. I don't remember exactly how I made it except it's scrap styrene with very little detail.

                      Hope this helps,
