  • Thank you for the wishes and prayers. I have a bad one, Cholangiocarcinoma.

But in two weeks I will run the last train at the Silver Valley RR and start building the Pueblo & Salt Lake RR.

Now I'm busy with another video, "Ride the Goose".

    • Wolfgang, all the best on your health issues.

I've enjoyed seeing your pictures and it's kind of sad to hear that your layout is coming down.

It is exciting though to see your new plans and I hope you share construction pictures with us.

        • Wolfgang hope you'll be well soon !!

I like to ask the members here a question, is there a RTR shay available in H0n30 ? One that runs on N-scale track...

          • Martin,

Not that I'm aware of. The closest thing there is is to take an Atlas N scale shay and convert it.

            • Thanks for the answer Jeff, asked it on behave of a german forum forum member, so bashing is the word..

              • After about a year of procrastinating, I got my dry transfer letters out and lettered my HOn3 Forney.

                • Just to shake the cobwebs off the door of the lounge, I thought that I would turn on the lights, build a fire in the pot belly stove, and put on some coffee.

I've been reading the Jan/Feb Gazette, and Sam Swanson has a nice little article on detailing an HOn30 Plymouth Diesel. He had the old AHM version, but the currently available offerings from BCH (BigCityHobbies) could also be used.

Anyway, a few simple cosmetic changes and a new paint job,and it really turned into a worthy looking critter.

                  • And with the BCH models, you get a much more reliable loco, when it comes to operation.

                        • Today I put a new project on the worktable.

Always have to have something ready to go.

                          It was a tossup.

After a long coffee and some contemplation,I figured I'd try the bridge.

                          • From what I can see on the box, Derrick, that is going to be one nice bridge.

                            • Today we celebrated the last run at Silver Valley RR. In the end we dismantled the layout to make room for the Pueblo & Salt Lake RR. Now I can start building framework.

                              • Well, Wolfgang... in one way, a sad moment... but it's followed by a new beginning! Rest assured I'll be following your new " build" closely, as I am selling off my HO motive power & rolling stock at present, and buying Blackstone HOn3 equipment to start my new layout.

Here's hoping your health is improving with each passing day... God bless.
