Hi guys. This forum is great because I can check in on occasion to see what others are working on. I would like to post some pictures of my modules and a small critter. Should I add to the topics or start a new thread? I do not want to step on any toes.

David, it's your call. The lounge is for general discussion. If you want to explain how you did or are doing something, I suggest you start a new thread on that subject.

        David,

Why not post your photos in the HOn30 Photos Anyone? topic?

UPS man delivered my Blackstone C-19 and K-27.

Set up some test track, lubed up the locos and ran them.

          These little beauties run superbly.

It's been about twenty years since I have modelled in HO scale.

I needed my first kit to put on the workbench to mark this occassion.

Bidded for a Western Scale Models blacksmith shop on ebay.

          I lost out.

Hit my LHS today and found something that would fit the bill.

You picked a good one. I built this kit in S-Scale.

His kits are just a dream to do and put together.

Just take your time and you'll have a real gem for the RR.

All, with his permission, I have started moving some of Cody's (acousticco) old threads from the Logging & Narrow Minded Forum to this location. If you want to see his work, you should begin looking on pages 2 and 3 of this forum.

I will continue moving the threads as time permits.

Even though some of these threads are old, Cody is still active on the Forum. If you have any questions, you could just post them in the old thread.

This is good to know, Bruce. Thanks for your efforts.

Thanks Bruce, I've been out of the RR loop for a while but I still check in when I have time. I've started a tiny 11x14 inch HOn30 mini layout (just a loop) and I'll post some pics when there's something to look at.

Now I've painted the backdrop in the new room. I have still to build quite a few turnouts for the new staging yard, dual gauge turnouts. Therefore I will use the chance for a reminiscence of Silver Valley RR. In six weeks for the January meeting of the Narrow Gauge Division I will dismatle the modules for the meeting. Then the room will be empty and I start building the Pueblo & Salt Lake RR.

There're will be six weeks to enjoy the modular home layout and take pictures.

I just bought some new HOn30 equipment to replace my old one.....

The Roco 0-6-0 in the DCC version.

I got it with some nice ore-cars.

Here is a (not so good) pic of it:

Now to see how to implement it with my HO standard gauge layout....

I guess an industrial spur with some street trackage could be nice.....

                          Wolfgang,

As you build those turnouts, I would love to see a photo 'how-to' if you have the time. A thread here in the HOn30/HOn3 forum would be appreciated by many I would think.

                          Michael,

It looks like you have a nice set of equipment there.

I've been cleaning up the layout area and the modeling bench. My outside yard work is almost done for the season and I will then turn my attention to modeling once again. HO projects will be competing with the HOn3 projects for my time, however.

Bruce, you're right. A photo story about building a dual gauge turnout will be good.

For now, here's my usual turnout.

Michael, what's the performance of this HOn30 Roco machine?
