I am in HOn30 and hoping someone can help with a track question...I have used (and have some leftover) PECO HOn30 flex track - code 80, model #SL 400. I need to purchase some turnouts and am finding the pickings slim and very expensive. Can anyone suggest a source or an N scale alternative? Would N scale code 80 rail turnouts be a match or much smaller rail?

I'm at a standstill with money in hand

Evening Cuse,
N scale would work gauge wise. The ties are smaller and spaced closer together. You could cut out ties to make them look more realistic. Or you could try and make your own turnouts.

Thanks for the help, Bernd. I knew the gauge would be fine but my concern was the rail size...Is code 80 in HOn30 the same exact rail as code 80 in N scale?
Anyway, I'm still curious about that...but I did find some HOn30 turnouts on Ebay, so I need to get serious about getting more done on the benchwork, etc

The code means the height of the rail. In other words Code 80 means .080" high. If I'm wrong I'm sure somebody will correct me.
