Used to put stuff like that on in the patrol car as loud as I could stand it and see how fast I could get from one end of the county to the other on the expressway late in the middle of the night on the overnight shift.....[:-cowboy]

                  • That's too funny, Karl.

When I started as a paramedic 29 years ago, we used to crank the radio to the max while responding to a Code 4 (Potentially life-threatening call here in Ontario). Kind of eerie with the loud music, and the red and white flashing lights reflecting off the office buildings in downtown Ottawa on a night shift.

                    Thanks for that memory!

                    • If you have a decent speaker system on your computer, this is worth boosting the volume (with the bass cranked too). My absolute new favorite vocal.

                          • For some reason, this song reminds me of the Burlesque Shows of yesteryear. Some of the great names, back then. Even the old baggy pants comedians

My favorite early ems related "music" was the sound of our Federal Q siren at full pitch echoing off tall buildings heading from the south end through downtown business section of Flint heading toward Hurley ER just a few blocks North...surely a good part of the reason I need hearing aids...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8c_TfvYQSXU
