This thread is bringing back some musical memories for me, I love it!

The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald by Gordon Lightfoot was a personal favorite of mine as well.

I remember also because of it's length in time 6.40 min. long.

It was used by on air staff at the radio station where I worked, to allow enough time for a bathroom break.

Originally, being from Minnesota I always liked Bob Dylan. Lyrics, if not his rendition of his songs. Probably the best version of any of his songs is done by Guy Davis, "Sweetheart Like You." Here is a link to a Youtube version.
