  • Just amazing how the trees brought the whole scene to like. An excellent job.

    • Troels,

I just was looking at the sketches you have posted and saw the grocery store. It is an interesting little building. Did you ever document its construction? I think I see it on one of the Cranberry town photos.

      Sketch attached.

      Thanks,

      Rob Morrison

      • I found a few photos from the construction here:

But I guess I was in a high gear at that time, so things went a little fast ;-)

        • Another beauty!

Thanks for the info on keeping the

          background just that....background.

It shouldnt be so elaborate that it

          takes away from the modeling....funny,

I never looked at it that way. Thanks

          Mr. Kirk!!! ;-)

          • Troels,

Thank you for looking that up - I should have done it myself.

Your buildings are always a treat to see and enjoy.

I wish I could recreate all of them, but I don't have the space.

            • Troels,

I am sure you shared the source of the crane you used at the paper mill, but I cannot find it. A search for "crane" showed every page of your forum postings.

Is the crane a kit that is still available to your knowledge? Who makes it?

              Thanks,

              • Troels,

I just found the posting wherein you say it is a Duncan model.

                Sorry to bother.

                  • Thank you Mario! You are most kind! Not contributing a lot these last couple of weeks, but I half finished nine trees yesterday, so steam is building!

                    • The nine new trees became fifteen... the hill with the Pierce residence in Crabapple Cove now looks more like intended, the flagstop looks less isolated. And already the new landcape has opened for new "long" views across the bay.
