    • Congratulations Troels, My On30 Annual just came and I had a chance to briefly look at your article. Looks like a bit of pleasure reading is in store.

      • Thank you Dave! Exiting to be published over there too! But much has happened to the layout since I photographed that article... should have had more updated photos.

The Crabapple house has been laid out and test assembled. Fits the little hill like a charm. A woodshed lean to on the left side... the outhouse is supposedly on the rear side, outside the kitchen entrance.

        • Does anyone have a link to volume 4

          Of this thread??

          Thanks Ron Knepp

          • Maybe Troels can go back and edit in a back-line into the first post, and a forward link into the last post so that all the threads are linked together. (Or one of the Admins)

            • Troels,

I was taking a break from the machine shop and an idea hit me.

With this new camera you have, why don't you try out the close up abilities of it by taking a couple of pics of the 'broken' conc. at the bicycle shop ?

I think you did a real good job on that.

              Thanks,

              Rich

              • Thanks for the response.

It is a great series that I have been

organising the projects into a series of MS Word files.

                Thaks again

                • Troels,

It has been many months since I visited the RRForum and checked in on your progress. You have been busy! These scenes are fantastic!! Well done my friend.

                  • Anders, thank you for saving me :-) I didn't understand the instructions from Schoolmaster

Gregg, good to see you present in the forum again!

Rich, without opening the access hatch it is extremely difficult to get in there and take a photo, but I have zoomed in on one of the original photos. You can see the small highlights added here and there. On a background structure, this is quite effective. I have done the same on my turntable well and other concrete areas.

                    • Troels,

                      Thank you, thank you.

Your pics will be very helpful. The 'conc.' actually looks like it really is cracked or broken.

Painting or depicting 'broken' conc. is difficult, IMO.

I tried it on the Acme Ice, but do not like the results.

                      Thanks again,

                      Have a great day.

                      • I don't post in your threads much anymore Troels because I've run out of ways to say awesome/fantastic/beautiful/unbelivable/incredible/and so forth. However I continue to check in regularly to feast on the eye candy. Thank you!

                          • I'll try again because it's a bit better.

                            Call up Volume 2

Copy the URL for the thread

                            Call up Volume 1

Add a new post to the end and add some text saying Link to Volume 2

                            Paste the URL link in.

Copy the URL for the Volume 1 thread

                            Call up Volume 2

Add some text to the first post saying Link back to Volume 1

                            Paste the URL link in.

                            Rinse and repeat.

Once you have done this a reader who gets to the end of Volume 1 can click on the link and jump straight to Volume 2 and someone who starts with Volume 2 can go back to Volume 1.

                            • John, you are most kind to explain the procedure, and to take interest in the wellbeing of readers of earlier volumes... But volumes are locked when full, thus can't be edited... But I'm also quite sure that the real need for access to all my former babblings will diminish quite fast And old volumes can always be found by searching anyway ;-)
