Thanks guys! I'll find or make some fruit crates for the rear entrance when I get to place the structure in some scenery. I like the idea of modeling the rear, which often has more scope for detailing than the front. I'm working on the next design in the row...

Dave, I had been thinking along these lines too, and have a big collection of fruit signs already to choose from! I will make some wooden crates with visible oranges too (I have seen some for sale in Germany but at ridiculous prices...)
But a new project is in motion... a dreary little building... the "Nitpicker's Bar", with alongside stables for high horses and second floor armchair lounge
The front windows will be planked shot with an "out of business" sign... Weeds will sneak in on the back, and broken window panes and general decay threaten the future life of this sad place...

I'm liking the whole concept of the Nitpicker's Bar. Looking forward to seeing it decay into the landscape.
On the subject of using seeds etc for fruit and veg - over here I would be reluctant to use natural products like that due to the over-representation of small animals that inhabit the night that really like that sort of thing... I have been collecting seed beads to use so that everything is either plastic or glass. Likewise with the scenery - no natural products as far as possible to reduce the attraction to unwanted guests!
