  • Great to see the countryside filling up. It's nice to do something different isn't it.

    Can't wait for the water...

          • wow, been awhile since I have been on here,I have missed a lot I see. And amazing work as always. I need to stop tinkering around with my HO club and get back to some On30 modelling.

            • A mixed chores evening, with application of paper planking to the bank walls, then some noisy carpentry making the beginnings of an access hatch frame for Crabapple cove. The sides needs to be straightened by being attached to wood blocks on the backdrop. The hatch itself will be foam, and have the Pierce MD residence/practise on top.

              • Nice, I like the painted backdrop - you can tell you're an artist!

It looks quite narrow - how big is it?

                • Kathy, if you are referring to the access hole it is roomy enough even for a big guy like me ;-) 66x56 cms (appr. 26x22 inches)

The trees are kept very simple and quite dark, as they only are there to provide the feeling of a dark forest behind "real" trees. If they were more visible they would have been lighter and much more detailed.

Glad to hear you'll fit. I hate the contortions I have to do to get into some areas of my layout!

The backdrop adds so much depth to your scenes and makes them come alive.

What's the mesh that you are using for forming the scenery?

                    Thanks

Here's hoping the PAL one is out soon...
