Those were the days, Troels....never had the pleasure of the Purdey,
or H&H, but I did own a A.H. Fox double 16, Parker Bro's double 12 and
a Browning Citori double 20. I too like the dry fly, but for much
smaller quary than y ou...I fish for "Sunfish" or Bluegills as we call them.
They average a good solid pound, and are a formidable foe on a 8' #4 tapered
floating line. Looking forward to your next build.

Andy, good color hunting! Stay away from colors with the word "hue" after them (not the real stuff), often the best deals here in Europe is unfortunately (for you) not english but dutch color ranges. VanGogh and Amsterdam are really good value for the money. W&N Galeria is watered/glued out and a waste of money.
Martin, the disgusting one is Tupperware, mut any food container with close fitting lid will do. And use a mister/spray bottle to keep the colors moist (especially just before closing the container. Mine has moist colors after three years!!
i think ive seen Amsterdam paints here before, but i think i'll have a look in belgium next week and see what i can find, got euros to burn left over from last time.

Got the finishing touches in tonight... signs from the computer, a gun display in the window, and a cupboard behind the door (not too visible in the photos), electricity connection with meter, game hooks on the other side wall, and a smokejack. Now to find the best location on the street...

That is very nice! Perfect!!! I guess the happy days are over for the foxes around the town from now on.... By the way the figure does have the shape on his body not unlike the moose hunters over here... As they are all heavy set gentlemen.

Hi Troels,
Yet another clever little build up. The aged timber colourings has come up quite nicely in the paper. I really like the tweed jacket paint job on that figure too...very regal! Not sure if I've asked you this before, but where are the small electrical insulators from? I normally whip mine up quickly from some styrene rod turned in the dremel, but some ready cast ones (if thats what they are) might make life and modelling them a bit quicker.
Cheers,
Dan Pickard

Thank you gents!
Martin, the street sign is scratched... copper wire, balsa, MiTeinte paper with a print each side. Very fragile ;-)
Hal, it is already sold ;-)
Mike, I already have a little bait and tackle store with Orvis products in Teal's Cove....
Dan, the insulators are surplus from the excellent telegraph pole kits I use, from weavermodels.com

Troels, WOW!! did I ever get lost. I was not getting any notice from this string and I
figured that you were still in the US. Earlier today I was just fishing around on the forum and
guess what??? I see you have not only started string #5 but are already on page 13.
I subscribed again so I won't miss anything and also started the process to buy your DVD.
I also hope the foot is feeling a lot better by now. It's good to catch up again.
Cheers,
Bob
