  • Great pictures Ron. Glad to see you were able to round up the boys and send them on their way.

Hopefully they didn't spread too much mayhem down there in Massachussetts.

Don't know if the Turtle and Preacher have ever been to Tennessee but I'm sure they are excited about meeting

    some of those Southern Belles.

Ditto what Simon and Bill said. We want pictures from everyone.

    • We have been waiting for Turtle and Preacher down here in the Blue Springs area, for them trouble makers to show-

up! Last yr they cause a ruckest of BS!!! with the yardmaster from the Lazer Railways Line which has been shut down

for a long time, due to ownership rights and track problems. Them boys better watch out, them Blue Spring RR cops

don't play.... and Fat Willie, the Yardmaster, is going to make sure them boys don't mess around in his yard...

      • Well the Nashville Road owes Crispy an apology for the tardiness of the delivery of the MP boxcar with

a load of Crispy Critters Crunch, "The crunch that will leave you thpeetsleth!!"

As you know we have had some wild weather here in Tennessee and the car was held at the Louisville

Yard for over a week before it could be sent south.

Here it finally arrives at Gresham Yard ans is being placed in the Madison Local, this day, being handled

by a pristine L&N GP7 on loan while the Nashville Road fishes more of its power out of the flood rav-

        aged areas.

The local is about ready to depart for Madison.

Crossing the City Viaduct at South Nashville.

Finally, arrival at the Madison Freight House.

Another car load of Crispy Goodness to warm any youngster's heart (and tummy)!!

Look out for #1, but don\'t step in #2!

        • A bit of activity here in SE Kentucky the last few days, Big Creek and Ebeneezer F-3 #66 picked up the Jewel Tea car from the freight sta-

tion where it received a load of KY Bourbon extract to be placed in some of Jewels fine flavoring products.

#66 was arriving at the interchange point just as Kentucky Southern #553 arrived on the main with the NH hopper car...

#553 backed in with the hopper to the interchange...

...then pulled out with the Jewel car to move on down the line toward Illinois...

A short time later BC&E #66 was seen shoving the hopper into position at Rube's Rhubarb for a load after leaving it's load

from Washington at the bulk plant nearby.

The OBS car of the KYSO crack passenger train the SPARTANid="green"> is seen passing on the mainline.

            • Andy. very nice shots and a very convincing and compelling story line for the delay. With your Ops session and hospital visits it is

a wonder you had time to stage that many shots. I hope your Dad is doing better? The next visitor went out last Monday, so it may

              well be with you already?

                • Nicely done, guys!

Karl, were P&T anywhere near the facility making "bourbon extract?" If they were, they might have been trying to extract some

for their own nefarious purposes! You might want to keep an eye on things....

                  • Andy, Nice to see Crispy's car on the move. Nice shots of the car going to it's destination. I'm sure the kids will love those

Crispy Critters. I always liked the L&N paint scheme on the geep.

Karl, Two interchange cars at the interchange. Doesn't get any better than that. Nice to see the 008 made it. Stunning paint

scheme on the Hiawatha observation car. You should show the whole train.

The RRPD have been proactive at keeping close eyes on the incoming cars. I hope to keep them at bay if they show up.
Bill here is the train...eventually the FA/B will be replaced by a set of PA/B units. They are in the shop awaiting the new QSI Titan sound

and paint. Pete, notice the close eye the Police are keeping on things. Of course that may be Chief Mike(RHPD42002)a bit far afield from

                      Rose Hill, too.

Andy it always does my heart good to see a BAR car in service on far away roads.

Karl - I sure hope some of that Bourbon extract makes it way here to Maine.

Andyid="blue">, . .Enjoyed your pictures, especially of the pristine L&N GP7 with Crispy's nicely-weathered MP box.

How about a couple of close-ups of the engine's paint scheme. I looked at the Fallen-Flags website, but I

could only find one or two pictures of similar paint schemes. Maybe you could share a little bit about that

                                particular paint scheme.

pictures of them. Kentucky Southern shor-keeps their equipment in clean and nice condition. I second

John'sid="blue"> comment, . .a beautiful color scheme, they are. If I'm not mistaken, the colors are quite similar

to the Mt. Hood Railroad belonging to the Mt. Hood Model Engineers Club here in Portland. Maybe Don

                                (Tankertoad70) can verify that?
