      • Every time I see that picture of the ramps over the fire hose it just cracks me up!

        • Frank, I've never seen a picture after the train passed over the hose.

          • Thanks guys. Time is against me at the moment to post more photos. Here's my 500px site if that's allowed here.

            • Bruce. The photos are just brilliant.

Wish I knew how the colour grading is done on those fantastic phototype images.

The workshops are gems for details.

Thanks mate... It made my Sunday...

              • Thanks Mario. I hate 'normal' photos! Not really, but I do like to push the boundaries a bit. Most of my photos involve many steps but the basics are easy to master.

If anyone wants a few tips just yell and I'll put a few tips together in a new thread.

                regards

Bruce. I spent a lot of time today looking at the photos.

Please set up a thread regarding how you process these photos.

                  The workshop photos are awesome.

                    • Just to say I haven't forgotten about some tips on my photos. Just that time seems to be in short supply at the moment.

Some research finds that that picture was (thankfully) staged:

                            • Here's one I took last weekend at the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum. Hoosier Valley in North Judson, Indiana use to move 125 trains daily with 4 railroads involved. The original tower was torn down, but through the efforts of the Museum folks, the town, and the county, acquired this tower from East Chicago. They were given three days to move the entire tower about 70 miles. They did it! Dismantled and rebuilt it. Enjoy!
