    Thanks I am indeed lucky to get to do some of those things. The owner said that much of the stuff came from the mines and smelters of Butte and Anaconda. There is some neat hardware there...

          Look at what I found today:





          I found this parked on a RIP/team track in Carrollton TX right around the corner from where I work. Any one in the Dallas area can find it a block north of the intersection of Belt Line Road and the northbound I35E service road in Carrolton.

                        Here's a few more of Beacon Park Yard that took from my sons dorm room on the 14th floor of Student Village II last Tuesday.

                        Ther's a nice lashup moving through the yard getting ready to head East.

                              Saw something similar to this at the roundhouse yard in Rockland, Maine some time ago. It was being used to hold a placard type sign. (sorry, can't remember what the sign said)

                                I still say it's a 1:1 scale NMRA track gauge. After all, don't the big fellows lay their own track?
