Have a few moments to finish up with this my first trip to Camp 18. If any of you are in Portland Oregon going to the Coast this is the place to stop...and the food is great too.

Thanks Guys, its why I post the pictures is to share and help us all. I have another camp18 collection, Camp6 which is small but some interesting stuff, Montana, which has alder gulch, Star Montana circa 1969 and 2007, and Missoula Montana. A small collection of Tall Pines, and then there is durango and Chama. Finally a good collection of Mount Raineer.

I think we will stay on the same theme.

I was going through some pictures I took the other day and found I had taken pictures of the same scene in both summer and winter. These were taken in Harmony, PA, which is north of Pittsburgh. The pictures are of the same cut, just taken from opposite ends.

With sufficient thrust pigs fly just fine.

Here is another batch...This is Mount Raineer Scenic RR. I called them in the middle of the week, and asked if there was a yard or someplace I could come up and take pictures, thinking I would get a rejection...but no I got on the yard, a tour of the restoration shop, a look at the engines under restoration...pics are a bit dark as it was raining...hey I was in Washington can't be all that bad. This is part 1 there were 2 visits.

                            More tomorrow...

                                Chester,

You are welcome, the lucky story about the 3 truck Climax is that the unpowered one has broken down the day before on a run, and the powered one was pushing it back to the shops. What a catch to see that.
