  • Well I set the trees back in around the mine now against the backdrop painting,

I love the fact this building feels big yet its very compact to the back wall,

I purposely left space behind the building wings on either side of the main building,

to slip in a real tree on either side,

to disguise the end of the roofline of the main building,It seems to be working pretty good to hide the true depth of the main building,

    thanks for stopping by,

    Randy

the 1st floor will be a warehouse,

and the 2nd floor will be a bunkhouse for the single men who don't go home,

                • Randy,

Great work, spectacular trees make the scene come alive. You build great stick buildings, how come there are so many trees around, they toooo proud to cut them down for buildins. If I were to move up to that guage your look and feel would be what would drive that.

                      • Hey Les,

                        After my endeaver in On30,

                        modeling the Pacific northwest,

I'm probably hooked for life on the modeling of real wood structures and big trees!

I will be placing a number of stumps around to show there was some logging done in the past,

but in my world theres gonna be big trees all around,

                        LOVE THOSE BIG TREES!!!

                        thanks Les,

                        Randy

the building looks a little odd now,

but with the roof porches it will come together,

Don't cut those big trees down. The warehouse / bunkhouse is going to look great.
