Has anyone removed the sand dome on a BLI C-16 before? I don't want to disassemble the whole locomotive if I don't have to. I am planning on switching locations with it and the bell.

no problem - easy job. The main problem is closing the big hole in the boiler

Yeah I did, I bought extra boiler and cab from them, the come out, but there is a big hole that has already been said.

You should have imagined that I had been there first...now where do you think those castings came from for your 2662T? stack, steam and sand domes...
