  • She's beautiful. Terrific proportions and the details look perfect.

    • That's fanrtastic! It looks and runs like a jeweled watch.
You're time and effort and all the redos were well worth it!

        • I made some progress toward starting the new layout. The planned hole was cut in the wall of my work shop and the layout section was passed through the wall and into the future layout room. I knew when I was finishing off the rooms that the only way the layout was going to be able moved from the shop where I was storing it and into the layout room was to go through the wall. I framed the wall with a 28" wide stud spacing in one location so I could cut out a hole big enough to pass the layout through. The remaining hole will be filled with a nice recessed display case. seeing this section from the other side is an interesting view. Remember, I build this entire section from the other side and pretty much had to work blind when I did the scenery on the sloped area. Unfortunately there is a lot of damage to the scenery that will have to be repaired.

          • That's a beautiful complex of buildings. It's terrific that you are able to allocate the space it requires and deserves.

              • FYI, when I start the actual layout construction I am going to start a new thread, it might be called Manns Creek V2.0, not sure yet. I do know that I will not be posting any new projects to this thread, but I will of course respond to it.

thanks for reading along all these years.
