  • Roland,

Great idea! If you ever want to make it "functional" just put some pulleys above the ties and add a bit of rope to the side with a cleat.
But it does look good as is.

    • Roland, I profusely apologize for temporarily hijacking your thread.
For the record, I think Roland is one of the best modelers on the forum and have always been very complimentary about his modeling.
My comment about the canvas was not done as a criticism about his modeling.
It was merely meant as a question of why he did it the way he did and offered an alternative.
The way it is now is perfectly fine with me and nothing needs to change.

      Again, sorry Roland.
      Back to the modeling.

        • I have made a little progress on the critter shed. I'm not going to add a lot because it will not be to easy to see inside once it is set on the layout. Roland Click image for larger version

          • That looks fantastic, Roland.

The gray weathering is very effective.

                • Roland always enjoy seeing your work; great coloring on the building both inside and out.
If you can do a building and not add a lot of details; then I'd be surprised.

                    • Roland,
A real beaut! I spy a nicely coiled rope, a grinder, some nicely painted barrels, a coal shovel, wrenches, drum pump?, ...oh the details!
                      Nice weathered siding as well.

                      • Thank you all once again. I have a few more details to go which will be added to the outside of the building. I really enjoy building something myself rather than buying the parts. It is my favorite part of the hobby.
