Outstanding work, Roland! The finish on the wood and metal parts is spot on. I also like how you mounted the cutoff saw, although I'm just a crusty miner and don't know much about cuttin' up them trees...
I really like your use of the Golden Oak stain. It gives a color that looks aged (yellowing) yet isn't anywhere near being severely weatherbeat (gray).
Thanks Arthur. Yes I used blacken-it. It didn't darken all over so I painted just the untouched spots with black paint, rubbed each piece with steel wool, then Bragdons black chalk.
