    Hi Dave, great diorama! I love all of the mini scenes you have built into this. I even noticed the bird house on the sawdust tower Really fantastic work! Thanks for the photos.

      So I guess these boats are all "scratchbuilt" since the whole process starts with the cutting of lumber from the log. [:-bouncy]

        Wow Dave thats very impressive, such alot going on everywhere you look, just a ton of detail. great job and a nice layout/design. Very creative work.

                Some wonderful modeling... great coloring and interesting themes and mini-scenes, right down to the multiple bird houses throughout the diorama. The 'bug' with the re-cycled finder is a really nice touch, along with the subtle body rust. The masonwork is nicely rendered as is the saw shed roof. Well done Dave.

                  What a beautiful dio, Dave! The big and smaller pieces of machinery, all the details and characters, make this scene a great eye taker.

                    There's 12 birdhouses. There's birdhouses all over Davetown. Seems to be a lot of mystery and folklore about them. I'm sure I'll know more by the the time my next book comes out.

                      I got nine of them, i think,

                      The 'bug' reminds me of several cars that drive around here... rust spots, newly primed areas, a new mismatched fender, but, most importantly....... riding high on a set of shiney chrome BBS 22's

                      The more I look the more I see, very nice Dave, keeps me coming back to see what I missed the last time.
