                        Here's another thought: In general I think we need a way to capture and recognize truly outstanding discussion threads, whether they're explanations of great craftsmanship, interesting historical or prototype discussions, etc. Is there a way to set up a contest or nominations, leading to a forum area to capture "best of the Railroad-Line"?

                              I was so saddened to hear that Mike passed. I knew him for years and learned a lot from him, both about modeling and being a man and administrator. He was a truly skilled craftsman yet he shared his ideas and methods with anyone who asked. Some of his modeling and photography was indistinguishable from real. The model railroad community as a whole lost an important member and mentor. Fred Miller
