  • Good Tuesday Morning!!

    Hi All,

Been a bit since I opened. Kinda nice getting back in the saddle at work. Looks like a beautiful day here in mid-Michigan. Hope everyone on the east coast is doing okay with the latest weather that you are having.

I'm on the WW diet so I'll let someone else take care of breakfast!!

Been really busy in the basement getting the railroad ready for operations again. Can't wait to see the trains running!![^]

Hope all have a great day.
Look out for #1, but don\'t step in #2!

    Good morning folks

It was a bright 45 F as I headed onto the dry roadways this morning. I even saw blue sky and a strange glowing object! Our high will be 60 F.

Yesterday was an easy day. My daughter had her flute lesson and my son has Boy Scout Troop meeting. I got most of the stuff off the workbench. I also took a long hard look at the track configuration my son came up with. I think it will work. Now I need to see if we have enough material to make it permanent.

Today we have Parent-Teacher Conferences. Tonight is my daughter’s volleyball practice.

I hope everybody has a good day.

Good morning, Andy, Tom and crew. I brought in some Panera bagels and put the coffee pot on the stove. No rain today in Hampton Roads, but it’s gong to be chilly.

I spent some time at the workbench last evening, but nothing dramatic to show for it. I have a meeting at the club tonight - we’re getting ready for an open house this weekend. If you’re in south eastern Virginia, stop by.

      Have a good day.

Good morning to the entire crew. I hope that there is still a Cinnamon Crunch bagel left for me.

The sun is out and we should have a string of nice drying days in front of us. Some above average temps are being pulled up north in the wake of this big storm. There is still plenty of flooding all around the north Jersey area.

I hope to get some time at the modeling bench later today. I'm in the process of putting the finishing touches on my latest scratchbuild.

There is not much else on the agenda - other than our daily trip to the nursing home to visit my MIL.

        Have a great day!

          Morning crew!

Well the sun is shing in Central Jersey and like Bruce said the "Weather Weenies" are calling for the sun and 60's through Saturday. Has Spring finally gotten here??

Home again today there finishing up my car today. Looks to be the Fuel Pump went.

Time to look over the forum.

          Everyone have a great day!!!

Bright sun is the order of the day here in the mitten state, it was frosty at sun up this morning but the forecast is for near 60 degrees by sometime this afternoon.

Passenger traffic is heavy this morning, going East to West:

Just wish it was on the tracks....

Going to get a few things done today. We're going to have to make some serious adjustments here as the Doll is about to be out of work. It will be an adjustment but we'll manage. She can draw unemployment and I am eligible for Soc Security in July. It just looks like the tax refund will be to pad the changes instead of a get away. It'll be nice to have her around more, to.

Today is my first grand child, Erica's 8th birthday, we had her for cake last week and will be taking her to ChuckECheese this weekend.

That's it from here, everyone have a good day.

Sun is out, hooray! Finished pumping 7" of water from the basement. Never had water before but at least it's an unfinished area so not loss.

Gonna' read the forum and try to find something for breakfast.

Is that what the sky looks like in “fly over country”?

It is indeed. And last evening's festivities included an excellent sunset in the northern mitten, with several contrails all at once headed south to north. Interesting highlights to a magnificent sky. And why south-to-north? That's the shortest way to go from Chicago or Dallas to Europe.... We here in Flyover Country get 'em comin' and goin!"

                    Good Tuesday Morning Everybody.

43 with sunny skys and we're heading to 60.

Thanks for opening Andy. I brought a assortment of donuts and I'll see what I can whip up for breakfast, and make some coffee.

Dave, sorry to hear about the water in your basement. I hope there isn't any damage to your foundation. Karl, that photo looks like a very loose formation of B-52's.

I have to finish up the family room project today and start some clean up outdoors this week. While in town yesterday the local hardware store just got their onion sets in. As soon as the soil is ready it's tilling time. The gardening season is almost here.

Sometime this afternoon I have to get some orders out for my modeling project. That should keep my evenings busy for a while.

The coffee is ready so I'll have some and look over the forum. Have a good day and God Bless.

                      Good Morning All!

Not much to report from the sunny land of Buckeyes.. Yesterday I went to the doctors in Mansfield and after my early appointment(oddly I didn't have to wait-a first) I went to a hobby shop and picked up some needed items. It was a pleasurable experience. No great plans for today other then I may go over to Col/San later this afternoon.

I shall have a cup and look over the forum.

                      Have a good'un!

Good afternoon all. I'm a bit confused about all these reports of horrendous weather on the east coast I keep seeing. We've seen nothing but blue skies and temps in the 50's for the past several days amd it's supposed to continue thru the week. Snow is just about gone...

Not much else going on. I did just about finish up my build of the Bollinger Edgerly Milk Shed kit yesterday. Maybe I'll get some pictures posted tonight.

                        Have a great day,

                        Dave :erm:
