I recognise a large number of people from other fora. That's encouraging.

The poor guy who suggested I register here always gets a "registration restricted" message when he tries to create an account...

                          Welcome.

You gave me a big grin with your post in the "Christmas gift" thread.

Tell us about your special interests.

Well, I was always told to 'go for the laugh to break the ice'. :-)

I primarily model in S scale, though I dabble in 7mmNG and 16mmNG as well.

The prototypes I am interested in are Railways of Newfoundland (42" gauge, S), CNR in south/central Ontario (std gauge, S), Railways of Maine (2', S), UK industrial (7mm scale, 14 & 16.5mm gauge), and WWI War Department (16mm scale, 32mm gauge live steam).

Finally setting up a workshop where I can make my own components.
