    Not a good pigskin day

    The Giant were massacred by the Eagles and the Jets lost to the Dolphins. Need a break and a rest for game four of the series tonight.

    It's a good thing my Sweetie is also a sports fan and knows the feeling. Washes are done, dishwasher is through and I'm cooking a 'good luck' dinner before the game.

      Peter, Ive been outside most of the day, but I've kept track of the games. Disappointed the Jets lost to Miami. To many celebrity owners. for my taste. The Steelers are on the bye, so I thought I'd listen to the leaveland v Da Bears for some amusement. They didn't disappoint me We're having homemade vegetable soup for dinner. Lots of stew beef and other goodies in it and it's ready. I'll have a full tummy for game 4 tonight.

        Hey, Peter...

        I checked the Giants game and it really wasn't looking too good in the 3rd 1/4. I did some chores today myself and am ready for some baseball action. Seems like everybody got into the act last night....Swisher, Matsui, and even Pettitt with an RBI single. Let's shut 'em down in Phillies town!

          What the heck happened to the team that started 5-0??? They looked absolutely terrible, I'm starting to see that same panicked look in Ely's eyes. Going to the next game at the Meadowlands, hope its more respectable game. Pat

            You're not alone Peter. The Packers are get whipped by Brett. They have been playing weak teams so far, now we see their is a lot of work to be done. They might start by teaching Rogers how to step up into the pocket. He just stands there.

            Guess he didn't learn much from Brett after all.

                  Was a mixed day for me.

                  Jets lost - that's bad.

                  Redskins didn't play, so they didn't lose - that's good.

                  Being a Skins fan and the Giants lose - that's good. Sorry Peter and you other Giants fans. I don't like Dallas or the Eagles either, but I dislike the Giants more.

                      Hey! This was a good day for Chiefs fans.... it was the bye week!

                      If you guys want to know true frustration, true sorrow, and true disgust all rolled into one emotion, try being a Chiefs fan for a season.... even a half season..... where's Awesome Dawson when we need him? oops, he's even older than I am. Oh well.....
