  • Paper Creek question?

I ordered some shingles over 3 weeks ago from Paper Creek and I was wondering if anyone has had problems with their orders. I received and email that my order was being processed but that's about it. I've emailed them about my order and have not had a reply from them.

Just curious if they are having any problems.

    THANX

I've ordered twice from Paper Creek. The first time my order came very quickly but the second time it took awhile.

I like their products, the shingles are excellent as well as their wood plank walls. Here is a station that I scratch built using only Paper Creek, sheet styrene and Grandt Line windows, doors and trim.

As you can see I took this shot before my second order of shingles came in. It's a rather crude model but being my first scratch build I was rather proud of it.

It took 8 weeks for my order to arrive. I beleive they were on vacation then at the convention. I really like their roofing products and will order again when I need more. Roland

Thanks Randy and Geezer. I wish I had a photo of it when it was finished but It went on a friends layout and I completely forgot to get a picture. I'm going to build one for myself in O scale, the one in the photo is S. I think I will use Troel Kirks techniques this time since his structures are magnificent.

Thanks ever so much! But you are doing excellent work with the methods you used for that station! Fine, subdued coloring/weathering.

And those paper creek shingles really look the part!

Very nice work on your depot and for a first time scratch build - excellent work.

I've never had that problem of waiting for my Paper Creek order to arrive; I've always ordered them through one of my Internet Hobby Shops and within 5 days from hitting the send key, they are on my workbench and ready to go.

Thanks Troels. I apologize for misspelling your name.... there aren't to many folks here in Texas with the name of Troels . I appreciate the kind words but I want to give your techniques a try.

                          Tom

I've been using Caboose Hobbies and Micro Mark. In both cases, service has been excellent.
