  • A Big Boy and a Diesel on Modern Marvels

    Just finished watching this & thought it was interesting. Wish they had more modern footage of the Big Boy. The Diesel under load would have been nice as well. It is part of the History Channel's Modern Marvels series.

    The link takes you to the Hulu site; (a bit better than the clip on the History Channel site)

    The 2nd segment is about the trains.

    This link will take you to a google search about the Big Boys;

    Enjoy.

          Micheal,

          Odd that you can't see/use the first link. Just tried the above link & it worked.

          Maybe a shorter link will help.

          http://www.hulu.com/channels/News-and-Information

          Click on the show Modern Marvels, the episode is titled The World's Biggest Machines (season 1, episode 9).

          Hope that helps.

          Mark and Peter, you're welcome.

          Peter, you'll like the episode about Extreme Aircraft as well(episode 3).

              Bummer.

              In that case here is the link for the History Channel clip.

              This is just the clip from the Modern Marvels episode.

              Hopefully those of you outside the US can view this.
