    Good Morning Crew,

How about a Porkroll (taylor ham) Egg and Cheese? add in some homefries, and for the not so daring (me) some homestyle Oatmeal.

Another really nice morning here in Central NJ, about 60 deg's F, and sunny!

Checking in from work, lots to do, and hopefully back to a project tonight. Depending on how tired I am, either some motorcycle work, or work on some Model club rolling stock.

Hope you all have a great day!

Good morning gang. It is suppost to be in the mid 70s here today. July is now half over and we still have only o couple of days since mid june when we have met our season high temperatures. The long range weather predictions of the weatherman of a hot dry summer certainly have been wrong. Humbug!! [:-censored][:-censored]Where is our hot weather?

Got most of my framing done on the walls of the blacksmith shop done last night.Have a great day.

          Good morning folks

It was a cool 64 F as I headed out onto the highways. Today the high will be 84 F.

It is now day 14 of our paychecks being held hostage by the little bratty children in our state capital. I wonder how receptive my mortgage company will be when I tell them I haven’t gotten a paycheck and can’t make my payment. I am sure they will be understanding – NOT. Sorry for the rant but for the last seven years in a row we have had to put up with this stuff. I have been a state employee for 25 years and only about 10 times did we have issues with a budget not passing on time. Seven have been under this administration and this guy is proud of the fact.

Last night we went to the library as the kids needed to get some books for their summer reading programs. After that it is was off to Staples to take advantage of their sale on school supplies. I also worked some on updating our Cub Scout pack’s website.

I did not get any modeling done because I wanted to change numbers on a car and found that I have no decal solution!

I hope everybody has a good day.

Do you realize that if we actually ate what is served in the lounge every morning that we would all weigh some 300 plus pounds and the membership would be dropping like flies with heart disease! It does always sound good though. Busy work day for me. I have to test out some new software to see if it actually fixes some end user problems the company has been experiencing.

Good morning crew. I was going to have some of that fine breakfast food till I read what Simon posted. I guess I’ll just have some oatmeal and coffee.

Our temps are now close to the normal summer heat and the humidity. Thank goodness we’re not getting the terrible heat the folks in the middle of the country are getting.

We’re having another shed building session at the club. Several members have completed theirs and I need to motivate them to build another one.

              Have a good day.

                Good Tuesday Morning Everybody.

Another sunny start to the day. The temp at moment is 56 heading for a high of 78. Tomorrow, summer arrives with highs of 88 with lots of humidity, and then it's back to highs in the mid-70's again. The only thing they got right was a dry summer.

Tom, their all "little bratty children" who need voted out of office to show them who their bosses are!!!

Leaving for the fishing/camping expedition in a little while. All that's left to do is pack the grub, put some back issues in the glove box, and lock the house.

Time for another coffee and to look over the forum. Have a good day and God Bless.

Oatmeal for me please. Thanks for the chow!

COLD here this am, upper 40s when I first got up, my fingers are cold and I have chills, but I refuse to run the heat in July. Weather folks in Grand Rapids say this is setting up to be the COLDEST JULY ON RECORD, thank you very much greenid="green"> weenies, warming panic mongers.

I stripped the paint from my ALCO FA-B-2 set yesterday, the QSI sound and speakers arrived and it is time to get to work on them. Over the next couple weeks I hope to get the sound working and detail and paint the ALCOs.

Road trip today to take my mother to a Doc app't about 75 miles away. Nice day weather wise except for the cool, should be warmer, tho before too long.

I hope all have a great day. Tom, here in Michigan state employees are being forced to take non-paid days off, while the state is luring Hollywood movie producers with massive tax breaks, spend $100 we write you a check for $40, while running native grown and long established businesses out of the state or out of business with oppressive taxation. A year ago the governor, grandmole, was beaming all over the news with the latest crop of State Troopers, the first of July, with much less face on the tube from her, 100 were layed off while there is a big rangle going on in the legislature to fund a $80million new headquarters for the state police to replace one in E. Lansing where they pay $1 a year lease.

WEll, not solving any of that here. Again, have a great day all!

Yeah, for four days a week, I have cerial, no sugar, or oatmeal. On wednesdays, I break up the week with toasted frozen waffles. I do splurge most times on weekends with eggs and such.

BUT, it is nice to fantasize about the wonderful sounding and tantalizing breakfasts we open up with. I say keep it up, we can always dream right?

                      Good Morning All!

Not much to report from the land of Buckeyes on this sunny and warm Tuesday..I took a short walk and didn't make it to my "resting" spot..Just as well I didn't hear any trains.

Not much on tap for today..

I shall have a cup and look over the forum..

                      Have a good'n!

Good morning crew! Just doing a rare early check in on the forum. It's a gorgeous day here in south Jersey with the sun shining bright and temps in the 70's! Almost too nice to be in the basement, but there's a railroad to build! I have SteamNut and Harsco coming over tonight to make more progress on the basement finishing project. We are about half done framing up the walls, then it's sheetrock time. I'm hoping to be well into the benchwork phase by the end of summer, if not sooner. I'll have to update my thread with some pics soon.

                        Have a great day everyone!
