Hey! I take that personally! My great-grandmother is buried in the cemetery used in the opening scene of that movie![:-angel]

    Ah...but was she talented?[:-blindfold]

She was extremely believable at being dead.

      I vote for Robot Monster.

(That's the one with the guy in the space helmet and gorilla suit.)

Dave, how could you not like that one?? It sounds very original!! I understand that it set the standard for all robot movies that used gorillas suits and helmets ever since!! Very scary!!
Look out for #1, but don\'t step in #2!

And the movie, "Ed Wood", I thought was both quite good and rather comedic in a very dark way....Martin Landau as Bela Lugosi was outstanding!
In a time like ours seemings and portents signify. Ours is a generation when dogs howl and the skin crawls on the skull with its beast's foreboding.

Worst movie I've ever seen was "Life Aquatic" with Bill Murray. Kept waiting for it to get funny but never did. Even "Ishtar" was better.

Do made-for-TV movies count? (I know, that opens up a whole new world of baaaad). If so, I pick A Wizard of Earthsea -- a horrible butchery of a great fantasy book (the author of which pretty much dissociated herself from the flick). So bad, I didn't even finish it. If you like Ursula K. LeGuin, do not rent this movie.
