  • Knocked my socks off

Don't know if we are allowed to sing the praises of a company but I will and if I've been bad this will probably disappear.

Anyway - since I live in the boondocks and a trip to a decent hobby shop would probably be an overnight venture I do all of my purchasing on-line. All the companies I have dealt with have been great. My only complaint is shipping time which runs from 1 - 2 weeks most of the time. Well, last Friday afternoon (mind you most of the country had taken the day off) I placed and order with Scenic Express. Imagine my surprise when I received an e-mail an hour later saying my order had shipped. Usually that means the company has stuck it in pile to go out whenever. Well, this morning there was my order waiting for me at home!!! Amazing. Fourth of July weekend...ordered on Friday and here today. Since I hate waiting for stuff guess who gets most of my business now?

Just thought I would share that with you.

Well, put your socks back on, Bubba.

Gary at Light Iron Digest did the same thing for me. This man does a great job. Almost overnight.

Just thought I'd throw that in.

Just love to hear good stories like that. It is always a few that ruin it for the majority.

Very nice to hear, Dave. I've never heard a bad thing about Scenic Express. When I was looking for ballast for the Nashville Road, they sent me little sample packs of each type of ballast that I was interested in even to include different grades of the same ballast. Great people and very fiendly!![^]
Look out for #1, but don\'t step in #2!
