  • Question

    Hey, guys,

Give me some help on this. Years ago I joined the Forum. At that time, I used my office email address, as I did not have a home computer. Recently, I purchased a home computer and, naturally, it has a different email address.

Last night I tried to register and get on the Forum from my home, but I kept getting a"wrong password" or "wrong user name".

Do I use the same user name and password that I have established here at the office ? If so, how will I receive emails at my home ?

    Enlighten me.

    Rich,

Yes, your 'account' is a specific username and password (which you originally registered from the work place).

Once logged on, you can click on profile, and make updates and changes (the e-mail address is the important one to change).

I have seven different e-mail addresses, most are web based accounts. I use one of these to have 'universal' access to all my messages. I can check e-mails and send messages from anywhere - using library machines, friends or family systems, or hotel business center access. That way, if I change ISP connections at home - I don't have to change all my accounts. I have never actually used the ISP provided e-mail address.
