Hi all, thought you all might enjoy taking a look at a RR Ray built here near my home in Or. I helped lay rail out there and have ridden it many times. He has a web site with lots of photos.....Jerry
Wow, that is an amazing piece of work. The construction photos look a blast.
I hope they get the planning issue sorted out. It sounds like the Lane County Land Management people are sticking to the letter of the law rather than the spirit of the law and making a big deal out of nothing.
Built a waterfront HO layout in Ireland http://www.railroad-line.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=22161 but now making a start in On30 in Australia http://www.railroad-line.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=52273
Great link Jerry. Thats my ideal impression of a proper outdoor railway, as the real ones where, cut through nature. The bridges are very impressive, in such a beautiful landscape to view as you roll by. Thanks.
thanks for posting. I read about this railroad and all of the red tape problems a couple of weeks ago in the Medford paper. i had wondered what the railroad looked like. now i know. what a monumental committment and effort it took to complete this project. thanks again!
