I'm curious to get some feedback on what most of you use as coupler height, and type of coupler also ??
As I slowly work on my rolling stock and motive power- before being able to start benchwork- I've settled on HO height (Bachmann stuff, etc) using Accumate standard couplers. I liked Harold Minkwitz' (Pacific Coast Air Line RR) thinking regarding the bulkier size of these couplers. It has created a little more work on some cars, and especially on non-Bachmann cars, but to me it just isn't worth the effort to make everything On3 size and height. Pictures I see in this forum seem to support that thinking; am I correct? My "rivet counter" friends are giving me grief.....I'd like to know what others are doing !!
