    Buy/Sell/Swap Forum

    Hi All,

    Do we have a forum that is appropriate for items that we are either looking for, or have to sell or swap?

    I don't want to see a forum for commercial selling, just something for us to use for items to sell off or trade that we no longer need or for things we are having problems finding.

    I could see this being a useful forum for our members. Two examples for me are the NH P1K Alco DL-109 that I would like to swap for a Rock Island (whole loco or just the shell) and a new undec P2K 2-8-8-2 that I would like to swap for a N&W 2-8-8-2.

    Anyways, it's just a thought. What are your thoughts?
    Look out for #1, but don\'t step in #2!

    For those who are unfamiliar with our Swap Meet area, these are the 'rules' for listing items:

    When listing items for sale/trade, please observe the following rules:

    1. The Railroad-Line Swap Meet forum area is for listing model railroad items or model railroad-related items (i.e., RR books, model building magazines, RR memorabilia) only. Please do not list cameras, computer equipment, or other items here.

    2. You may list only items that are your personal property. Please do not post "proxy" listings for other sellers or non-members. The Railroad-Line Swap Meet forum area is for the use of registered members only.

    3. Commercial product advertisements are prohibited in the Swap Meet forum area.

    4. Links to eBay auctions are prohibited in the Swap Meet forum area, regardless of whether it is your own auction or someone else's.

    Postings/listings not conforming to the above rules will be removed by the Swap Meet moderator.

      Thanks Mike, I missed that one completely!! I take it that it is okay to place "wanted" items on the forum?

        Yes, it is. In fact, a couple of the guys just posted "WTB" notices there a few days ago.

            Yes, thanks for me too Mike. I've posted a couple of items. I know I'll have a bunch of stuff in the future but I'm holding onto it all till I figure out just what I really need!
