  • MMI K-27 wiring schematic

I have a MMI On30 K-27 that I want to put a Tsunami in. I need the wiring schematics and any wiring tips such as what to remove so I can do it. Does anyone have the wiring schematic for this loco?

Bill- I saved a bunch of stuff on the K-27 and K-28 that I pulled down from somewhere while searching the Net on this same subject; wish I could remember where I found it (they say the memory is the 1st thing to go....) If you contact me at mrchief3@msn.com I'll send you a bunch of Word files & pics that may be of help.

I sold my new inboard K-27 since it will be too large for what I want to do, but I have an MMI C-17 now. The MMI locos are absolutely stunning, but the manual/instructions- or lack thereof- is surprising for a piece that nice and costly ??

Thanks Lou. That will get me started. I understand from another modeler that the board used for powering the head and class lights requires 2.5v which will exceed the lighting output rating of the Tsunami. Did you happen to use this for the lighting? I guess I should ask did you put in a Tsunami or DCC decoder first?
