Wanted to jump in on this topic; in fact it's the reason I finally joined the Forum after checking & reading this site for months!

My suggestion is to invest in a PSC catalog, and use a couple of the sources mentioned here- but don't depend on Caboose Hobbies. I live in Aurora, Colorado, and am down there (my favorite store) weekly. As they move more toward "ready to run" in every scale, I've seen the huge wall of PSC O scale parts dwindle down to one little section, and have been told by Caboose employees they will not re-stock. They'll order for you, but the space will go toward other stuff. You're better off to order from PSC. Good luck!

      Dashman,

I agree completely I was at Caboose hobbies this past summer, and bought alot of parts, but normally buy from PSC directly.

Additional note- I order from PSC, using a catalog I won on eBay for $4. Patience is key- I earlier had bid on two other catalogs and lost, but saved myself about $20. I also use eBay and other auction sites for parts & kits; so much stuff at my 2 LHS is moving toward "ready to run".

Les- let me say right away how much I admire your work, as well as Geezer, Arthur, Dallas, et al. Hope I can contribute like you guys have- but at least I can stick in an opinion that might help!
