Newer members of Railroad-Line might not be familiar with Paul's involvement here and on other forums. He was one of our earliest members to sign on when RR-L started up, and he was the first moderator of our model photography forum. As moderator he posted a well-received tutorial on model photography and lighting (now located in the forum archives). At the same time, he was the head moderator and administrator at The-Gauge, which was his online 'home' for many years. This was all while writing and publishing several articles about his layouts in Model Railroading magazine and producing a CD of tutorial-style articles about layout construction and scratchbuilding. Unfortunately, health concerns forced him to cut back on his forum participation and moderatorship a few years ago. In 2004 he started up AMR with the help of his son Dave ('Qube'), and that has been his forum home since.

We wish Paul well and hope for the best in the months to come.

      Hi Larry and Mike,

I tried to go to the site but I could not get the page to come up. I'll try again later.

I wish Paul all the best.

Well, the page opened for me at home and I was able to read it.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Shamus and his family. I feel so bad for them.
