  • The "Jump for Joy" Friday Lounge

At least we should be jumping for joy! Because of the generosity of some Forum members, we are able to keep going for the next year while we work collaboratively to improve the Forum and come up with a long-term plan for keeping us going beyond that year. Have patience while we wrap our arms around this. As a start, non-members can now see the Forum's content. Other issues (slowness, Error 500), will be addressed as we move forward. One of the things you all can help out with is generating content. Join the Challenge, start a build thread, respond to the work of others, and invite new members. You get the idea.

So back to a 'normal routine'.

Breakfast is a Short Stack of Blueberry Pancakes with real Michigan Maple Syrup. Bacon and/or Sausage Links on the side. Our Coffee is Railroad-Line blend.

I spent most of my time yesterday working on Forum issues - including writing a tribute to Tyson. Today I hope to get back to some modeling.

What Rick said!! Great news indeed!! Thanks Bruce et al!!

Gooooooood Morning, All! It's a comparatively balmy 24, headed for 30 under the ritual grey blanket here in the northern mitten, and the snow is predicted to begin just as I need to leave for a doc appointment.... Wheee....

Make it a great day All, and stay safe! We've got a good start on this already!

This is in fact GOOD news concerning the RRLF.

I find the "other" forum some folks have moved to, very hard to navigate.

Cold in west Texas but warming by tomorrow into the 50s.

        Have a great weekend....John

            Good morning everyone,

Bruce, that is very good news indeed. Thanks for all the effort you have put into this. My biggest concern is what will happen beyond 2025.

While I have joined the other forum and have started to post there I have no plans of not posting here for as long as it is operating.

            Have a great day everyone.

Wonderful news Bruce. Thanks for helping to keep this going at least for another year.

Bruce, that is wonderful news indeed!
Thanks to everyone who made this possible!
Even if it's for a year, that still buys us way more time to try and figure out how to keep this RR Lines forum alive.

Exactly, Greg. BTW, did you see that non-members can now see the content again? I know you were in favor of that.

That's great news, I've been spending the past week contemplating what to do without the forum but now I don't. Thank you for this. I too am happy with the non-member changes

This is great! Railroad Line Forums are the most "drama" free forums I've found. Good news that they'll continue on!
