    Good morning everyone.

Lake Havasu weather: Increasing clouds, with a high near 72.

Coffee, sodas and OJ are ready.
A decadent Cinnabon to enjoy with your morning beverage.

    Merry Christmas Eve!

I hope everyone is feeling well and is healthy.
I hope Tom's ladies are adapting to their new low caffeine diet.
I hope everyone got much accomplished at the bench.

Star and I walked just under 5 miles yesterday here at camp.
    We'll do another walk today.

Good morning on this Christmas Eve morning in So. Central Wisconsin. It’s still 33f degrees outside but that is also the high for the day as we will be in a continuous drop into the lower 20’s.

It is my day to shop for my presents to Terry. I’ ll be out and about at 10am. When we were 1st married and for maybe 10 years I had to wait for my Christmas bonus at noon on Christmas Eve before I could buy presents. I still after 48 years being married enjoy the last minute shopping for Terry and for the kids (now includes g/kids) stocking stuffers. I will not though be buying any presents at the LHS for myself today. I am killing that tradition.

The employee gathering last was fun and bittersweet. We did hand out the final bonuses to the remaining staff. As of 1/1 Terry and I will have no active businesses or employees.

Tonight will be a nice dinner here for family only. Just 9 including 2 girlfriends. No gifts tonight as that will be at the daughter’s tomorrow.

Christmas Day starts at 9am breakfast here or after the 2 grandkids open their presents at home. We head over to the daughter’s around noon and all presents not from Santa get exchanged and opened. Then a midday meal. Around 4 the daughters neighbors will start venturing over to celebrate

    Merry Christmas to all

    Merry Christmas Eve,

Rick thanks for the shiny new Lounge. The coffee and breakfast hit the spot. Beautiful country your parked in
    so enjoy.

Tom O enjoy the time with family and friends; that's a great part of Christmas.

    What's everyone else doing.

Well it 30 degrees warmer than yesterday morning sitting @ 30 with a high of 35 in New York.
At least it'll get above freezing. As much as I hate to do it, I need to run to the store for Ellie
then stop at the bank. Probably clean out the driveway to irradiate the 5 inches of white crap.
    Bench time?????

Have a wonderful day!!!!! Be well, enjoy time with family & friends, and stay safe.

    Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Rick. That looks pretty desolate. Actually the first thing that popped in my mind was the movie "The Hills have Eyes"! Yikes, not very festive. You're right Rick, I'm not feeling very festive between the house and several ongoing issues with the family. I just feel blah.

Started out the day with a walk at 53F and slightly breezy. Yesterday MOH ended up spending the day at daughter's house having a fan installed for SIL. The electrician was almost 3 hours late. Why does this seem the norm these days? She was there between 9 am to 4:30 pm. I wrapped presents, that took up my afternoon. I guess I wrapped a T-shirt that is for me from MOH and she has given me c**p about it. I am really not feeling it this year.

Today will be support for MOH as she bakes and prepares things to be cooked tomorrow. We will exchange presents and have supper at daughter's on Christmas.

TomO good luck with the shopping I have only been in one store since Thanksgiving. Love the internet (at times). Have a wonderful time with family and friends.

Mike I hope your cough is better.

Tom I hope you're moving around better.

I hope everyone has a good day.

    Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Rick. Hope you and Star had a good hike in the desolate yet beautiful desert.

I for one love the Christmas Season. Well, living with Pam one can't help but feel the spirit. She is all about Christmas, decorating the house and wrapping presents. Last night she fixed me an eggnog with a gigger of rum. First drink I've had in over 35 years. I'm not recovering, just never drank or smoked. Diet Pepsi is my only vice. Well, maybe trains are the biggest vice.

TomO enjoy the last minute shopping. I snuck some in yesterday.

Curt I am moving around much better but still very sore. I think moving around helps and I'm not one to just sit a feel sorry. I was cutting the grass 5 weeks after open heart surgery. The Dr. gave me Percocet for pain after the hernia surgery. I took two the first day and sill have 18 left. Don't like taking pain meds as the side affects are worse than the pain. Okay, enough of that stuff.

Nothing on my agenda today other than a little modeling.

Have a safe, healthy and happy day everyone.

    Tom

Good afternoon, Tom. I don't think trains are considered a vice; they are more like a remedy for whatever else ails us.

Good morning and happy Christmas Eve Rick, TomO, Larry, Curt, Louis, ACLTom and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Rick, so you're camping in the middle of nowhere . With scenery like that I would camp there too. Enjoy your walk with Star.

TomO, hope the ladies are doing better, I know they are having a tough time of it. Sounds like you had a great time yesterday. Enjoy your time with your family.

Larry, Have fun getting rid of the white stuff and don't overwork yourself and we got some of that last night . It's getting warmer here too.

Curt, when I was younger I wasn't a huge Christmas fan as there was a lot of stress getting everything done and it was go, go, go Christmas day, only for everything to be suddenly done. Used to look forward to when Christmas was over so I could finally relax. Now that we are older, Christmas is more for the grand-kids so we don't have anything near the running around and stress that we use to.

    Louis, enjoy your day.

ACLTom, 2 trees? I see you go all out. They are beautiful looking trees. Glad to hear you are starting to move around and are feeling better.

Finally getting warmer here in the great white north as it is currently -9C (16F) with a high expected of -6C (21F). Have some last minute running around to do and some snow removal to be done this morning. This afternoon we visit my Mom for Christmas Eve and then it is on to our daughter's place. Had a successful day at the workbench yesterday as I completed the three remaining turnouts required for the staging yard. Don't think I'll make it to the bench today.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Ron, Thank you.

2 trees? I wish, she actually has three trees up this year. I think it is due to the fact she believes this is her mother's last Christmas. Her mom is 96 and 4 months old now.

Grey and damp Christmas Eve greetings from Michigan.

The Doll baked a turkey yesterday and we feasted on turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes that were great! I really topped it off as I set my heaping plat on the table and dumped my ice cord Diet Coke right square in the middle of it as the fancy place mats were tippy. Lucky to have a paper towel handy and got most of it mopped up quickly It ended up being great.

Off to one of the girls’ today. The other one tomorrow. Fractious Family Friction Freezes Festive Feelings.

Little to add, need to get my smiley face and get at the day.

      Good afternoon folks,

Thanks for opening Rick and thanks for the photo.

It's a bright day but cool at 52F. It's supposed to warm to 58F later today.

I started the day in an Urgent Care clinic, because my cough had become uncontrollable. It turns out I have a sinus infection, so an antibiotic and a cough suppressant were orders of the day. Tonight we celebrate Christmas Eve with our Daughter and SIL. She always cooks Paella for Christmas Eve so it will be a treat.

      Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah,

      Good morning and Merry Christmas.

The coffee is hot Ash blend. The sodas are cold and there are lots of flavors. Neutzke’s bacon and smoked ham with choice of sour dough bread and pumpernickel. The toaster holds 4 slices. There are 2 great apple pies available one of which is no sugar for those diabetics in the group. For those who played Santa’s last night, you’ll want the hot chocolate
