Good morning crew. News from Florida and Georgia doesn't look good. I hope our friends down there are safe. Our breakfast this morning starts with eggs your way, blueberry pancakes and Virginia country ham. Today's coffee is Hot Box Blend.

I'm about to leave for a routine medical appointment. We have to spend some time putting the house back together after getting new carpeting. What's everyone else up to?

Good morning, George, and thanks for breakfast.

I stopped by the club yesterday to take some measurements. Most of the day was spent relaxing with the family, reading, and practicing music.

Today will probably be much the same. We are meeting friends shortly, then maybe our son will want to get out for a walk.

    Have a nice day.

      Probably more rain today.........

Coffee and some toast and jelly to get me going a bit.....

No painting thanks to the weather, but a stack of office stuff and then small incremental stuff on projects. Maybe tomorrow on painting?

Did an up & back to the house in PA. Still right where we left it and all good there,

      Same as it ever was...

We had a beautiful sunset last night as the leading edge of the tropical storm reached the mid-Michigan area. Clouds and a fair bit of wind forecast here today. Little rain the next day or two but nothing like those in the SE. The image doesn’t do the sunset justice, it was much redder….I don’t understand the reason for the wide margin at the top…the photo was first thing I placed…

Haircut is the plan today. Little else.

I always enjoy your photos. Thanks for posting.
Got my haircut yesterday. New girl at shop took off about twice as much as I like. It should look better in a couple of weeks.

Speaks of the old adage, what's the difference in a good haircut and a bad one?

          About a week.

We got almost an inch of much needed rain yesterday (not from the tropical storm, that might arrive next week). Today it's perfect. Sunny, slight breeze, a bit warmer, with high predicted of 74.

Today's project will be tackling the bents to hold up the truss bridge.

Good morning to the entire crew. Thanks for opening the lounge this morning, George!

It is 58 and mostly cloudy here in S.E. Michigan with high temps expected to reach the low 70's. The service guy is here doing routine maintenance on our generator. After that, it is back to a little gutter cleaning and some other yard work. A couple of rainy days are predicted, so I will get the outdoor work done while I can.

          Have a great day!

Morning crew. Coming to you from Command Post St. River (camp). I've been somewhat absent from the forum and haven't posted much. Spent too much time on MRH explaining modeling stuff I do. Also spent too much time on New Tracks Modeling. Time to consolidate my time for myself. Did make some great internet friends on MRH though. Seems like I've been chasing to many "shinny objects" of late in the train modeling mode. Time to get back to working on my layout, the quarry line, and get it built.

              Enjoy the day. Later.

              Mornin,' All!

61, headed for 80 and severe clear here in the northern mitten. I'll take it! Good day for working on the snow stakes in preparation in the garage, so that's the day's "scheduled" festivities. Will have an errand or two, but Ol' Man Wintah is on the way, the leaves are turning color and I need to get off the dime and get the things painted and then installed. Wheeeee....

Make it a great day, All, and stay safe!

                Good morning all.............

No real plans for today. Maybe work back on the layout. I was originally going to Dallas, visit some friends and then go to train show in Plano Texas on Saturday. But I have an opportunity to do a drafting project for an old customer. It is an easy project and pays very well, so I will do that on Saturday, make some money instead of spending money at train show.
I went to Wally World in Wichita Falls yesterday. Smoked turkey at the deli was $10.95 a pound. I passed.
Sunday will be spent getting all info together to get to book keeper on Monday, for Oct 15 tax day.

                Everyone have a great weekend..............John
