  • Wednesday Morning Lounge

Good morning from S.E. Michigan where it is 37 degrees under cloudy skies.

Breakfast includes eggs, home fries, sourdough toast, and plenty of our Hostler Blend Coffee.

Today marks the 54th anniversary of the day Bonnie and I walked down the isle. Lunch out at an Italian Restaurant is on the agenda.

Two more packages to get into the mail today for our three Great Grand Children. After that, some time working on the layout.

    Have a great day!

Good morning, Bruce. Thanks for opening. Congratulations on the anniversary!

It's 58F and cloudy here in northern WV. The rain appears to have stopped for the day. I suppose this warmer weather means I should get outside and look around for those little tasks that need doing.

Much of yesterday was spent working on the club layout (wiring) and getting ready for the builder to show up today. I'm a little sore from the cabinet building, clearing out a bathroom, and crawling under the club layout, so I don't know how much 1:1 woodworking I will do today. Maybe stick to HO scale construction.

    Have a good one.

    Mike

      Good morning everyone.

Bruce, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
      Also, Happy Anniversary!

Texas weather: Mostly sunny, with a high near 77.

Still in Big Bend NP and there will be more hiking and photography.

      Have great day everyone.

        Morning all.

Congratulations on the anniversary, Bruce. Another exhausting day at work, I've slept an hour late. Sometime today some Ikea stuff is getting delivered. No other plans here.

          Good Morning All,

Finished my morning walk and had coffee and a bagel from the buffet. Thank you Bruce.

Congrats to you Bruce on your anniversary.

Not a good day on the laptop front. The repair would be in the $500 range...ouch, so MOH ordered me a rebuilt one from Dell. Guess what I'm getting for Christmas?

Anyhoo, I hope everyone has a good day.

My parents had a December wedding, they said it was kinda fun to combine the wedding and holiday decorations.

Cold rain in SE NH, we're still well under the annual rainfall, so I'm not complaining.

Dreary rainy day here in VA.......ham on a bagel again......clearing out the freezer,

Garbage did not get picked up yesterday.....grrrrr....

Not much on the agenda today - bench time and fine painting stuff......maybe if my Muse returns I might write up a pair of product reviews and an article for the NMRA Div. newsletter.....or not.

Good morning! Happy anniversary Bruce. I will be spending the day getting ready for a visit from the Grandkids. I need to get the benchwork cleared off and the trains ready to run. It is always a bit of a transition from working on the railroad to running the railroad. I hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning everyone including Dave and Martin who tend to forget the traditional greeting. It's 70f where I've been hiding for the past few days, and will maybe escape today. Bruce, Congratulations on 54 years. Bonnie is indeed a saint. Enjoy your Italian restaurant remember to keep your back toward the wall. Thanks again for opening up these past days. I got up and walked about 100' yesterday, so that was about the extent of the activity here.

                    Glad you aren't here!

                      Mornin' All!

Usual grey blanket bleah issues here in the northern mitten, but external events mitigate that somewhat. Happy Anniversary Bonnie and Bruce! Here's to many more! Jim, heal quickly, completely and permanently! And as Karl has noted, this is the anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941 that drew the United States quickly and forcefully into World War II. Please pause for a moment to remember that day....

Make it a great day, All, and stay safe!

                      Good morning to all.

Happy anniversary to Bruce and St. Bonnie. Remind her that the lounge enjoys her treats.

Jim, where’s the trains? You been gone long enough to have a shelf layout in there. Get well sir

I am off to the Orthopedic Doctor this morning. Therapist says I am doing well. I feel good…

Thanks Tom, had some vertebra fused that were pre-empted by the triple bypass earlier this year. Should be good for another 100,000 miles in a little while.
