    Tuesday lounge, how's your holiday shopping going?

    Hmmm, guess I'll open today. Scrambled or fried eggs (in my new fancy frying pan), sausage, Boilerwash in the big pot, and oatmeal in the small pot.

    As is usual, I have -no clue- what to get for my wife for Christmas...

    Good morning everyone.

    Dave, thanks for the breakfast.
    I'll plug the coffee pot in and get that going along with some hot water for tea and a fridge full of assorted sodas.

    Texas weather: Partly sunny, with a high near 79.

    More hiking and photography today.

      Good morning! My friend Wayne Olson is on his way over to work on the railroad, today. All of the worlds problems will be solved by the end of the day along with some modeling. I hope everyone has a great day. Dave thanks for getting things started and the fine meal.

        Good morning Dave, Rick, John and the rest of the crew. Thanks for opening the lounge, Dave.

        Some morning errands and then some layout time this afternoon. At least that is the current plan.

        Bonnie has a pork loin in the crock pot. It is covered with honey, diced cranberries, orange zest and nutmeg and ground cloves for spices. Yum.

        Rain again..........fried up some ham and my better 1/2 made some cinnamon rolls.......2nd cup of coffee and now I can begin to think about considering what I might look into deciding to do today......or not.

        what to get for my wife for Christmas...
        I feel your pain.....mine bought a new frige and microwave.....and other stuff that makes work for me. What I can get her from me is a mystery to me now....I'll think of something......that's wrong......eventually.


        So it goes...
        In a time like ours seemings and portents signify. Ours is a generation when dogs howl and the skin crawls on the skull with its beast's foreboding.

          Good Morning All,

          Was lazy this morning laying in bed for awhile. Not sure what's on the agenda today. As for gifts, the wife and I tell each other what we would like. We started this many years ago and works well especially as I don't do hints very well.

          I hope everyone has a good day.

            Dave get her something Railroady, when she can't use it, save it for yourself to use.

            52 degrees and sunny, here in the Ocean State, Rhode Island today.

            I threw together a Greeting Card Hack How-to for layout scenes, and posted it yesterday. I hope you all like it.

              One year for her birthday, I got her a new vacuum cleaner, because ours was on the fritz. I was very emphatically told that was "the wrong choice."

            Deep dark grey here in MI at mid 30 something going to 40 something, drizzle has passed.

            I worked on track painting yesterday, it’s been on hiatus for quite awhile as the camo spray I’d used cause upset and vocal exclamations of discomfort thruout the household. Using an air brush and Vallejo Air dk brown. A bit more tedious but quite the less feedback. Railhead cleaning is still tediously a hand operation either way.

            Here is a bit of the one end of the yard I’ve done:

            Well, I made it through a day and didn’t break anything! But it’s still early today.
