Good morning crew, readers, and lurkers from 49f and heavy rain in N.E. Indiana. The coffee urn is READY with Steam Whistle blend in the 'to go' cups. The crew van is parked in the garage out of the rain, for the trip to the Greek's in a little while. We want to cram as many as we can into the van, to save on the escalating fuel costs.
Hope the weather is good for the Tour de Chooch folks. Beats the heck out of Zoom meetings, I'm sure.
I spent a good part of yesterday re-arranging stuff in the shop to get the 'snow plowing' tractor chained up, ready for frozen rain. It generally doesn't serious here, until after Christmas. Although the freak snow storm here the first week of October sure caused a lot of problems. I doubt I'll be riding that tractor much in any event, for a couple of months.
Hobbywise, I spent about 2 hours updating my database. I hit the 2000 items mark. Can you spell 'out of control'? I gave my youngest son a ton of machine shop tools on Thanksgiving. He loved them, and I loved getting them out of here.
He just bought a Sherline lathe and is taking a class at a vocational high school. Aeronautical Engineer from Purdue 'learning new skills'.
First half of yesterday's Michigan - Ohio State was good, second half no so good. This afternoon I'll watch the Bears get crushed by the Jets out in the shop, and keep sorting through stuff.
Have a Super day!
Jim
