Good morning all, from 29f and clear N.E. Indiana. The coffee urn is READY with Steam Cylinder blend. The special is a breakfast burrito w/wo chorizo. The Oatmeal pot is near the end of this batch. All other drinks including hot chocolate is at the end of the line.

Well Thanksgiving 2022 is in the rear view mirror, and Christmas is officially up next. Better be on our best behavior.

I got to play a little yesterday with the module I started last year. I forgot how much work I have yet to complete on it. I was waiting on servo controllers to arrive from Chuck. Apparently they showed up, when I was delirious and were sitting unopened out in the shop. The mail lady leaves packages in the shop when the weather is nasty. Never in the same place though. So, I've got to move on getting it in gear on the module.

More fun than hanging new drapes.

    Have a Super day!

    Jim

    Good morning everyone.

Jim, thanks for the coffee and breakfast and I'll have the chorizo.

Weather in Lubbock has a 50% chance of rain the morning and highs in the mid 40's.

Looks like it will be a mostly indoors day today.

    Have a great day everyone.
Follow along as my dog and I travel the country in our van.

340 and light orange haze to the East, later? I’m early, going to OPS this morning. 10 am call.

Home alone yesterday, spent a little time at the layout, used some paint that created a crisis… as two steps inside the door the noise began right up until curfew. Finally went and tore out the painted stuff and took it outside… Cleaned up the last conglomeration of leaves that the snow, now gone, brought down. 3-4 sweeper hoppers full. That’s it for the year, what few are left can just blow a bit, not enuf to mat down.

      Well, off to the day…..

Be well, all, Jim, thanks for the fill up.

      BE WELL!

        Morning, all.

Having my favorite breakfast, pie. My wife would say it's cool whip, but there is pie under that. Supposed to get to 53 here today. Hawkeyes lost yesterday, so no game today to watch. Need to start some cleaning/clearing as family starts arriving Dec 15.

Good morning to the entire crew. It is 33, sunny and heading up to 50 today in S.E. Michigan.

We will head out this morning to pick out our Christmas Tree. We'll probably stick with a Frasier Fir.

Other than that, no specific plans.

Supposed to be going up to nearly 60 degrees here today.....maybe we'll get outside today and do a bit of a wander about...

Scrounging about eating leftovers to clear the frige back down to semi-normal.

Back to work on galleys and some bits on the work bench.

                Quiet and settled day....

                So it goes...

In a time like ours seemings and portents signify. Ours is a generation when dogs howl and the skin crawls on the skull with its beast's foreboding.

Windy in SE NH, but one oak in the yard still has most of its leaves on the tree. Sunny and seasonal temps. This is Tour de Chooch weekend http://www.tourdechooch.org/wp/, I hope to go see some NH layouts tomorrow.

update: Wife has announced she won't be eating any more pumpkin cheesecake. Guess I'll have to finish the half that left by myself. Someone has to do it!

Good morning! I'm heading into the train room for the day. I plan to have the Michigan - Ohio State game on in the background. I came back from my trip really motivated to do some modeling. I hope everyone has a great day.

Morning All. Thanks for the heads up on the messages Jim, I'm still figuring things out. The F&SM open house was well supported yesterday as there were at least 10/12 people there for the few hours I was there. The Jordan truck arrived in time to beset upon the Swackhammer's diorama George built for a customer. I'll play at the bench till lunch and then head outside today to do Christmas lights and attach the snowblower to the Gravely tractor. Click image for larger version

Good morning Guys, and all incoming crew. Thanks for opening the Lounge Jim. Nothing better than a cup of coffee to start the day off.

42 degrees and sunny, here in the Ocean State, Rhode Island today.

Now there is my breakfast again Jim. Thanks!

Our son and his wife are in town so, today will be a Lobster dinner day for us. Nothing like New England lobsters.

Everyone have a great, safe and healthy day ahead. I'll see you all on the RR-Line Forum.

Good morning all, I haven't seen much of Dave's wind, though there was some last night. Up from mid-30s to low 50s today. I'm getting my layout and house ready to be open tomorrow (Tour de Chooch). I did get an email back from Walthers' store provider saying there actually was stock of the items they were confused about, but not when they'd get the site straightened out. So I ordered the lift rings elsewhere. I need them for a suspended cable signal line - having spent some time working on overhead wire, I'm more conscious of proper guying etc.

True, and each of us has his own areas of expertise where what catches our eye as "wrong" would be missed by most people.
