    Sadderday

    It's already the 2nd Saturday in October, wow. We'll fire up Boilerwash Blend, and in memory of the holiday formerly known as Columbus Day, there's espresso, too. Fry bread for Indigenous Peoples Day, bagels, crumpets, pretzels, biscuits and gravy. There, have we covered everyone?

    Good morning Dave and incoming crew. Thanks for opening up the lounge this morning. I'll go for the coffee and crumpets.

    51 and cloudy here in Rhode Island today. It rained last night so I don't know if the grass will be able to dry enough for me to mow it today.

      No, you’ve probably gored some buddy’s OX by grievous act of omission to some obscure culture. Like Columbusophiles like me…

      Got down to 30 on the app in the night…currently in mid 30s and a fair bit of sun. Glad we did our adventures earlier in the week.

      Thanks for opening Dave. It’s still 33f degrees on the WeatherChannel app, same as it was at 6am or 3 hours ago. We had frost overnight.

      Hockey again tonight on campus, layout activity today and weathering to be worked on was the plan. Terry has declared dinner is not available at home and thinks after the 6pm game which means about 8:30. Then declared because of MY diabetes and my need to eat consistently we should have brunch out too.

        Weather here in NE: Patchy frost before 9am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 66.Dave, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
        It's currently in the mid 30's.

        Need to go to the phone store and hope that my phone is ready to go.

          Good Morning All,

          Back from ACE hardware where among other things I picked up a small sheet of plexiglass so I can cut a piece to protect the completed signal bridge from elbows.

            Good morning to the entire crew. We had our third light frost last night. Still not a 'killing frost' for most of the annuals. High temp today should be in the mid-50's.

            A run to the grocery store is next on the agenda. Some work on the benchwork after that.

              Afternoon all,

              Forgot to check in this morning. The Judge came over to run trains and gregd (this forum) joined us around 11:30. We had lunch at the local watering hole where some serious BSing occurred.

              I'm trying to get the Judge to join here.
