Getting ready to install my RIX HO overpass; but it doesn't look correct. Would there be a black-top road surface on a cement bridge?

There would if the bridge was repaved, which happened when the concrete underneath was badly damaged by weathering. If you decide to do that on the road surface, it's a great excuse to heavily weather the rest of the bridge (including chipped concrete and rust stains...)

Most modelers weather over it to make it look like a used surface. Or you can take the sections and make it look like cracked concrete in places then brush on black and brown chalks.
