22 turnout frames ready for the 'worst part' adding the wooden ties. Out to the shop in a little while to check on the dyed ties to see if they dried out enough to handle.
Mosquitoes were flying IFR when I took Millie out.
55 and fog here, too. Should be vfr after breakfast…chik amacallit? In the hell is that? Trying to slip a tongue twister by us in the fog? No thnx on black beans this early, either….
Going out in a minute to do a weed n’ feed drop…woke up early fretting about it like it was brain surgery…, crazy old fool, just getter done…
Had to run the Doll to Doc in the Box late yesterday afternoon, rapid onset of a urinary track issue…bit of a rough night, but feels better this morning.
This afternoon is Range Day at the Sheriff’s range, requal for the year…

Reason: Return correctness’s to the spellcheck misinterpretation of reality…no beans, no matter the kind, for breakfast!
The original post crashed 3 times initially. So went to Chrome to see if the picture posted. It didn't. Then I went to the iPhone and saw that it did show up there. On my normal Firefox browser, it looks fine.
I'm back from my hiatus. The only thing of note is the scenery on the layout is complete and I'm prepping to install my PL style signals. I use Logic Rail Technologies boards.
Good morning, Jim, Karl and crew. That's a good-looking set of turnouts, Jim. VFR here in Tidewater Virginia with temps in the low 80's later.
We're going to an evening wedding today. It's about a two hour drive to the ceremony, so much of my day will be involved in getting ready for that.

Good morning. Thanks for opening, Jim. You're getting a good turnout this morning!
Cloudy but no rain this morning, so we should be going out walking soon. My bones are a little sore after our usual walk yesterday and swing dance in the evening. There were a lot of new participants, students all, and it's work keeping up. Too much both feet leaving the ground. The best thing now is getting out on the rail trail.
NMRA regional call this evening. Otherwise, the day is open for whatever I want to do.
Have a good one.
Mike

Good morning Guys, and all incoming crew. Thanks for opening up the lounge Jim. And with the coffee. We just have to get that Coffee, it is the best way as we all know to start off the day.
Good one by Mike, with the great turnout.
57 degrees, and partly sunny here in Rhode Island today.
More work completed on my new project. Thanks to all that made comments. I'll be posting more progress today. Thanks to all for your comments.
Everyone have a great, safe and healthy day. I'll see you all on the RR-L Forum.

Morning Jim and in coming crew. Frist some coffee.
Sunny and cool in Up-state NY. Will be doing some brick work I started out yesterday. This is real 1:1 brickwork. We had new sliding doors installed and the one I had to have the brick work above the door totally rip out because the new door would not fit. So after three years I figure I better getter' done.
It'll be back to the River for the last full week and then it'll be only short stays till they shut the water off. Then it'll be modeling season at home, finally. Maybe I'll get some of my modeling projects done that I've started.
Have a nice day everybody.

Celebrating son's 39th birthday tonight.
I hope everyone has a good day.
Curt, I was unaware you joined the forum. Glad to see you here and post some of your pictures.
Good morning Crew and thanks MR. Crash for opening the doors! Weather in So. Central Wisconsin is mostly sunny heading into the low 80’s. My sister is here and she has been walking with Terry and I as we are trying to get her some strength back. We are up to 1 mile. 1/2 mile down to a bench on the trail, rest about 10 minutes and walk back up to the house, 3 times a day. Same procedure Terry and I did to recover from all my surgeries and the stroke. She gets to meet my trainer next week in the pool!
Trains, I have been working at the weathering bench and still working on the transload facility on the layout. It has been fun. Today is cut the grass day if it dries out this morning. Later today both ladies have doctors practicing on them and then tonight a UW Volleyball game on campus.
Well the coffee did "good". I got the brick work done.
Before "coffee".
After "coffee".
Now for some modeling time. Tomorrow it's "mow de lawn" and clean up after the mason left a mess. Will have to see if the morning coffee will do evil or good.

Yes, it is. Don't tell the wife I have a French maid that "mows de lawn" and I have to watch her very carefully to make sure she does it right, the French maid that is.
I got this set of stainless widemouth funnels from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09LXMX3WH The smaller of the two has a 1 1/2" bottom opening, which is -perfect- for filling/refilling shaker bottles, etc. I've suggested to Scenic Express they should sell a similar sized funnel.
And on a more general note: Should we have a separate section here for Scenery?
