Otherwise, It looks like most folks are having success with posting pics, etc.
I still get the 403 error quite a bit, even with deleting cookies, but things will settle down in time.
I just hope folks will persevere, as we don't want to lose anyone just because of some technical issues.
Reach out if you need help, because as we know, there are many helpful and knowledgeable folks on this forum.
I'm certainly no expert. But happy to assist where I can.

BTW, some great photos being posted here. Giving me some enthusiasm again.
You have been a big help for me already with a few issues, so thanks to you Rob for your help with the new RR-Line Forum issues! And yes, for the most part the new forum was worth the wait.

I haven't had to clear the cookies since I did it the first time. I've been able to log on without having to clear the cookie jar. I wonder if there is a setting in Windows 10 that one needs to set. I've looked through that section but am quite confused as to which setting takes care of the cookie issue on forums. Needs further investigation.

    Thanks, Rob.
I had to clear the cookies again this morning before I could get to the forum, but then logging in was straight forward. baby steps, but progress

    Bill,

On the line that has the camera and chain links on the left go to the right you'll see a tag with a loop of wire through it, that's the attachment button. The one next to it is the "Advanced Editor Toggel" button. Click on that and you get what Rob showed you.

I don't get a menu bar like Rob shows above in his post. Instead when I drag a photo to the Upload Attachments box in the lower left corner, initially no image appears, but below that I get the options of
Thumbnail Small Medium Large Fullsize Remove
When I click on those choices, different size images appear
Here are medium and large for originally and 800 ppx wide image with resolution of 72 dpi Click image for larger version Name:	test.JPG Views:	0 Size:	130.3 KB ID:	962640 Click image for larger version Name:	test.JPG Views:	0 Size:	130.3 KB ID:	962641

Got it down. I see we can resize the photo once loaded. I see also spelling checker works too! Great.

I assume in time the Mods will update the thread on how to post a photo, as it's now completely different than before. Far easier. But here's a quick lesson that will help for now.
If you use the camera icon (top left) to post your photo, it only loads it as a thumbnail. so have to click on the thumbnail to see full size.

To load full size direct to the forum, Instead, use the Image icon about 3/4 along the editing bar for photos (see below in yellow)
Click upload tab, choose file, (then select your photo), then click send to server, click OK, and then Post Reply. Apparently the max photo size is now 2mg
